In addition to advertising, we solicited bids for the purchase of cafeteria tables (specifications attached) for the Lake Road Elementary Cafeteria. Funds are available for this purchase within the Central Cafeteria Fund budget for the current fiscal year as previously approved by the Board. We received bids from seven (7) companies and all bids are summarized on the bid request tally sheet.

Three (3) companies submitted bids that did not conform to the specifications. Bid specifications noted that the vendors should bid a Krueger International table or a pre-approved equal. The low bid, meeting all bid specifications, was submitted by J. C. Educational in the amount of $15,510.60.

I recommend approval of the low bid as submitted by J. C. Educational in the amount of $15,510.60.
